Software Engineer

MoxiWorks (through SoftMax Data)

2021–2025

Remote

  • Led the migration of a business-critical plain Ruby syndication service into an existing Rails application, preserving production behaviour through extensive regression testing and compatibility validation.
  • Maintained Rails and Ruby services supporting MLS listing syndication, agent profiles, and third-party data delivery across North America; diagnosed production issues and contributed public API endpoints, validation, bug fixes, integration support, and documentation.
  • Inherited an incomplete custom certification test suite for the Anywhere Back Office Management API and took ownership of completing and substantially expanding it across distinct brand-specific syndication feeds; implemented and deployed required sandbox cases covering property states, MLS field mappings, association-specific requirements, business rules, and edge cases.
  • Automated certification reporting by generating the required CSV results for upload through Anywhere’s developer dashboard, replacing manual case-result entry; led multiple certification cycles that achieved production approval for brand-specific feeds supporting Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, CENTURY 21, Coldwell Banker, and ERA.
